Broadway Inspirational Voices:
Originally founded by McElroy in 1994 as the Broadway Gospel Choir
the group was reincarnated into its current form in 1999 as The
Broadway Inspirational Voices.
In addition to numerous concerts, the
group has performed on “The Rosie O’Donnell Christmas Special,” Broadway Sings
Elton John, The Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation Benefit, The 2000 Tony
Awards 2000, OpSail 2000 for President and Mrs. Clinton and "Barack On Broadway". The Broadway
Inspirational Voices second album Great Joy: A Gospel Christmas was
released on Sh-K-Boom Records in 2003 and received a Grammy Award nomination.
The
mission
of the Broadway Inspirational Voices (BIV) is to bring people of all races
and religious backgrounds together to explore and perform traditional American
Musical art forms with an emphasis on Gospel music.

Members of
the Broadway Inspirational Voices
will be singing on the TONY'S during the
2009 Tony Awards Sunday June 7th
8/7c on CBS. BIV also congratulates
one of its members, Gavin Creel on
his second (2) Tony nomination!

voices on Broadway today. BIV received a
Grammy® nomination for its Great Joy: A
Gospel Christmas album. That album is the
basis of the concert that will take place at

The Broadway
Inspirational Voices Choir is a registered non-profit.
Its operations depend on donations from individuals and community
grants. All donations made to the choir are tax-deductable. There
